STAFF SELECTION CONTEST FOR ACADEMIC MOBILITY WITHIN ISDEGO PROJECT UNDER THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM

Technical University of Moldova invites academic staff to participate in the academic mobility program within the international project ISDEGO “Implementation of Sustainable Urban Development Goals in Transport Bachelor Degree” under the Erasmus+ program.

This project goal is integrate the principles of SDG11 – Make cities and rural areas inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable -into all key bachelors disciplines in the transport and information area in UA&MD universities ( https://www.isdego.eu/ ).

The mobility program provides for a 5-day traineeship at one of the designated EU universities:

– November 17–21, 2025 – POLITECHNIKA MORSKA W SZCZECINIE, (Republic of Poland) or HOCHSCHULE WISMAR (Germany)

– November 10–14, 2025 – UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI ROMA TOR VERGATA (Italian Republic) or UNIVERSITATEA TRANSILVANIA DIN BRASOV, (Romania).

The mobility expenses are covered by the ISDEGO project under the Erasmus+ program. The selection competition for academic mobility is open to members of the teaching staff who are involved in the development and updating of educational components scheduled for implementation within the ISDEGO project “Implementation of Sustainable Urban Development Goals in Transport Bachelor Degree”.

 

To participate in the selection process, applicants must submit the following documents in PDF format to the email address valentina.frunze@adm.utm.md by September 15, 2025:

  1. Copy of the foreign passport.
  2. Europass Curriculum Vitae (CV) ( https://europass.europa.eu/en ).
  3. Motivation letter in English (in the letter, it is necessary to indicate if the

applicant participated in the Erasmus/Erasmus+ program in the past).

 

Eligibility requirements:

  1. English language proficiency certificate at an appropriate level.
  2. Employment at the university

Selection criteria:

  1. Level of motivation (1 – low, 2 – medium, 3 – high).
  2. Level of academic achievements (1 – satisfactory, 2 – average, 3 – high).
  3. Experience of Participation in Erasmus/Erasmus+ programs in the past (1 – participated recently, 2 – participated a long time ago, 3 – never participated).

Documents to be completed after selection:

  1. Proof of staff employment.
  2. Mobility agreement for training.

ISDEGO project workshop at ‘Sustainable Mobility Day at TUM’ – 8 April 2025

Technical University of Moldova (UTM) hosted the event „Sustainable Mobility Day at UTM” on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, during which the international Erasmus+ project ISDEGO – Inclusive and Smart Digital Education for Green and Resilient Urban Mobility – was presented.

The project presentation was delivered by dr. Daniela Pojar, Vice-Rector for Finance and International Relations, as the institutional coordinator for ISDEGO from UTM. During her speech, she highlighted the strategic objective of the project and the planned activities for the implementation period, with a special emphasis on updating 35 university courses in the field of sustainable urban mobility, in line with the directions set by the European partnership.

A key moment of the event was the voting session dedicated to selecting the micro-credentials to be developed and piloted within the project. Participants were invited to vote on eight proposed micro-credentials, as follows:

  1. Road Safety Teacher
  2. Fundamentals of Urban Mobility
  3. Smart & Connected Mobility and Big Data
  4. Clean & Energy-Efficient Vehicles
  5. Mastering Urban Vehicle Access Regulations for Sustainable Cities
  6. The Power of Mobility Data: Discover How Every Move Matters
  7. Artificial Intelligence in Urban Mobility
  8. Autonomous Vehicles: An Opportunity for Cities

Following public consultation, the following two micro-credentials were selected for implementation:

  • Fundamentals of Urban Mobility
  • Smart & Connected Mobility and Big Data

These two options reflect a growing focus on smart urban mobility and data-driven solutions, contributing to the training of a new generation of specialists equipped to tackle contemporary urban challenges.

Technical University of Moldova reaffirms its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration through active involvement in impactful projects that contribute to the development of digital and green skills among future professionals.

📢 Proiectul Erasmus+ ISDEGO la Ziua Mobilității Sustenabile la UTM 2025 🌍

Proiectul Erasmus+ ISDEGO – Punerea în aplicare a obiectivelor de dezvoltare urbană durabilă în domeniul studiilor de licență în transporturi va fi prezent la Ziua Mobilității Sustenabile la UTM 2025, un eveniment dedicat inovației și sustenabilității în mobilitatea urbană.

Organizat de Universitatea Tehnică a Moldovei (UTM), prin Facultatea de Urbanism și Arhitectură și Laboratorul de Cercetare „Observatorul de Siguranță a Infrastructurii Rutiere”, evenimentul va reuni experți, cercetători și studenți pentru a discuta despre mobilitatea urbană sustenabilă, inovațiile în transport și siguranța infrastructurii rutiere.
