Official Opening of the Sustainable Urban Transport Laboratory (SUTLab) within the ISDEGO Project

On May 14, 2026, Technical University of Moldova officially inaugurated the Sustainable Urban Transport Laboratory (SUTLab) within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE project “Implementation of Sustainable Urban Development Goals in Transport Bachelor Degree” (ISDEGO), Project No. 101179915.

The opening event took place during International Week 2026 and brought together representatives of the university management, academic staff, and international partners who joined us during the International Week organized at Technical University of Moldova.

The newly established SUTLab will serve as an educational and research centre dedicated to supporting modern teaching methods, practical student training, and the development of competencies in the field of sustainable urban mobility and transport systems.

The inauguration of the laboratory represents an important step toward strengthening the educational infrastructure of Technical University of Moldova and promoting innovative approaches in transport education aligned with current European sustainable development priorities.
