Technical University of Moldova Participates in International Teaching Mobility on Urban Mobility in Brașov
Teaching staff from Technical University of Moldova actively participated in an international teaching mobility hosted by Transilvania University of Brasov on 10–14 November 2025, within the framework of the ISDEGO project (WP5).
The Moldovan delegation included academic staff members Alioa Lîsîi, Nina Garștea, and Igor Rotaru, who took part in specialized training sessions focused on urban mobility and transport systems analysis. The sessions were delivered by professors from the host institution, including Stelian Tarulescu and Dinu Covaciu, covering topics such as the evaluation of urban mobility scenarios in freight transportation and traffic flow simulation using VISSIM and VISUM (PTV) software.
This mobility contributed to strengthening the academic and professional capacities of the Moldovan teaching staff, particularly in the fields of freight mobility in urban areas and road traffic simulation. The knowledge and skills acquired during the sessions will further support the development of modernized curricula and teaching approaches at the Technical University of Moldova.
